Rider Killed by Cougar in Washington State
Agreed. We can't predict how we would act in a challenging and super scary situation like this but I would like to think that my instincts seeing my riding friend dragged into the woods by a big cat would not be to leave them and ride out of there. I'd run at the cat screaming and yelling and throwing everything I could at it.

ASG Group Acquires Ellsworth Bikes
They should take this moment as a visual branding opportunity to change the hideous cursive logo to literally anything that is not in cursive font

South African Brand Pyga Now Available In The USA
I'm surprised at how many bike companies exist. They're probably fine bikes but it seems like there's oversaturation of bike brands in what is a relatively small marketplace

Photo Epic: Rocket Air Finals 2018
Reading the photo captions reminds you what a bodily sacrifice it takes to get to this level: " .....massive crash....painful crash....massive crash.....dreadful injury.....we witnessed many riders going down who needed their bikes picking up for them from the dirt."

2019 Specialized Stumpjumper - First Ride
Interesting that there isn't consistency across biking websites as to whether these are new 2018 or 2019 models. PB is going with 2019 while some other websites (Vital, MTBR) are saying these are 2018. For better or worse, the launch timing in early second quarter sort of splits the two years. Specialized doesn't help clarify at all as their website says nothing about model year for this new bike. This is probably going to lead to some buyer confusion

Yeti's New SB100 Doesn't Fit The Mold - First Look
@Tomac72: Probably the weight penalty for the Switch Infinity system. My last Yeti was an SB6 before Switch Infinity came out. It seems overly complicated, adds weight, and narrows the design envelope
