Bontrager Line Pro 30 Carbon Wheels - Review
How can this be a credible review without a pro rider bashing them down a set of stairs without a tire on? I thought that was the new standard?! ;-)

Ghost Bikes Announce New Asket Hardtail
AL is fine, but I agree I'd like to see more carbon options for modern geometry hardtails

Testing 27.5 vs 29 With Vanderham and Gauvin - Video
It's not just about which is faster but that 29ers roll over obstacles better, giving a rider more confidence

Autumn Riding in New England - Photo Epic
Terrific shots. I'm conflicted, though, on Kingdom Trails. Tons of flow and scenic, but almost zero technicality. You could comfortably ride almost everything on a hardtail or a even a fully rigid. Kingdom is raking in the money from trail-use day passes; I hope they use some of that money to build some more technically challenging trails

Pearl Izumi Versa Pant - Review
A bolt for a car that costs $1 will cost $5 if it's for a boat and $15 if it's for a plane. For the same bolt. The bike industry is somewhere between marine and aerospace costs. $125 for these jeans, when you can find similar Wrangler stretch fabric pants at Target for $25. Same with bike gloves. By work gloves at a hardware store for $20 instead of $50+ from the bike brands

East Bound and Down: Harrisonburg, Virginia
The West get's all the attention but it's great to see another gem of the East coast highlighted. It's not half as crowded as trails out West so you can actually let that trailbike rip on the downhills without dozens of newbies pedaling up at you

Look's New X-Track Pedals
I've got some cousins and a curmudgeon friend who insist on sticking with their Crank Brothers and Speedplay Frogs and then we can't easily swap bikes when riding together. It's annoying. Wish they'd just accept that SPD is more reliable and that's why more people use them
