@Neil6: @Neil6: haha yeah looks funny, but what you're seeing is the cleaning action from the TiG torch, Looks like didn't do any paint prep at all because usually I need to wire brush that stuff off. Which I think is absolutely sick, shows the real process of the job. The black soot on the edge most likely from sanding/brushing off the oxide layer, or the welder had to weld sand blasted material. Source and I am an AWS D17.1 certed welder in all materials along with other certs aka I weld for a living.

LOL I have the same gemini lights and they are the biggest pieces of junk I have ever bought. I have taken apart the housings multiple times to add tape or silicone to dampen the vibrations otherwise they just turn off mid rock garden, or the landing of a jump.... Anyways, pretty amazing effort!
