Pumped for Dak! He went from barely being able to walk in March to almost making finals in his first WC a few months later.

First Ride: Forbidden Druid Core & Lite eMTBs
@mikekazimer: I went from reading PB daily for the last 5 or 6 years to checking in maybe once a week over the last few months. Honestly, it's just the lack of original content. Reviews don't cut it. Most modern bikes are great, so I don't care to read the same review every time a revised model comes out. With race season I'll probably be checking in more often, but I'd like to see more of the fun stuff that's been lacking. Bring back PB Academy, Grim Donut, review some oddball products that isn't just paid advertising. Do a video series with the whole MTB staff where y'all race eachother in XC, Enduro, DH, etc.. Make PinkBike great again

NOBL Wheels Opens USA Wheel Building Facility
@mhogan1: Next time you break a hoop tell them you want to try the TR38s. I blew up 4 (3 rear and 1 front) TR37s and Nobl called to see if I'd be interested in trying the TR38s. About a year in and they are absolutely bomb proof. They will still honor the lifetime warranty too!

Inside Vorsprung's Telum Shock & At-Home Custom Tuning Details
Have been running one on my v2 Dreadnought for a few months. I took it out of the box, bolted it up, and haven't had to touch a single setting. When I first bolted it up I was a bit surprised at how damped it felt compared to coils I've ran in the past, but on the trail it's phenomenal. Easily the best shock I've rain on any bike. The team at Vorsprung is always quick to respond and answer any questions as well. 10/10

Pinkbike's 2024 Community Survey: What Bikes Do Pinkbike Readers Ride?
I ride with a pretty diverse group of people and I don't know one person who bought a longer travel bike as a "dong surrogate". Weird comment. Projecting a bit?

Review: The Forbidden Dreadnought V2 Has a Need for Speed
@pmhobson: I don't doubt it. I'm good enough on a bike to adapt to whatever, but I much prefer the way the Forbidden bikes handle.

Review: The Forbidden Dreadnought V2 Has a Need for Speed
The last part is key. It takes time, a couple months of riding 3 to 4 times a week for me, to really get used to all the little quirks. I used to love the Specialized bikes, but I've hopped on my dad's Stumpy Evo a few times and can't stand it. Cornering feels awkward, and it feels like it rocks back and forth around the BB. The forbidden bikes ride so 'flat' your weight stays centered. The first couple months were a struggle tho, mostly with cornering. I learned you really have to commit and be deliberate or risk having to brake hard / risk blowing the turn.
