Video: 7 Bike Checks with XXL Shredders
At 6'5 I vividly remember the first time I got on a properly sized bike (485mm reach) and blew my mind. Now I wont entertain anything below 500mm.
I also remember Devinci in 2017 or so telling me that 449mm reach on their XL Spartan at the time was plenty long enough for me, oh how times have changed.
So glad the industry recognizes us tall freaks as people now

Review: Specialized's New Turbo Levo 4 Has More Power, More Battery
In BC for sure and probably most of Canada. Anything over 500w is not legally an ebike. This bike cannot be legally ridden on the streets or bike lanes and would need insurance and Vin number as it is over 500w. Any bike shop in BC should go ask their lawyer if they are legally insured to sell and work on Limited Speed Motorcycles (LSM). This is all before we get to the class 3 unlock ability which again is not legal to ride in BC on any public street/bike path. So only legal to ride this motorcycle offroad but I am sure all the specialized dealers will omitt that when selling them.
Its not the cops you have to worry about here they are busy. It's if there is an accident it's the insurance company lawyers are going to rake you over the coals. Technically if you were to get into an accident riding on the street or bike path this is an unlisenceable LSM with no insurance and you bet your ass it will be used as a reason to rule against you

Counterpoint: Gearboxes Are Overhyped
The main issue I see with gearboxes is efficiency. I still have not seen a gearbox without a 5-10% reduction in efficiency vs a clean chain. While this may not matter for DH and especially not with Ebikes it matters a lot for all the other disciplines of cycling. Please correct me if I am wrong on efficiency but it is hard to beat a clean and lubricated chain and derailleur for that.

First Look: Marin's All-New Rift Zone E
@dupster: There are 3 warehouses for Shimano North America. Irvine California, South Carolina and Peterborough Ontario. I believe the Irvine warehouse is the largest as it is the main receiving hub from the factories in Asia. So if you live close to one of these 3 locations your Shimano experience will be much better than if you live literally anywhere else in NA

GT Becomes a "Stand-alone Business" as it Returns to Southern California
@gnarnaimo: More likely that PON held companies will go to direct to customer sales online. Anyone thinking these big corporations are not going to go to the direct online sales route are kidding themselves

Field Test: Deviate Claymore - High Pivot Heaven
I have tested this in the Highlander as well. Full 240mm one-up also fits into the large with no issues. Only complaint is my 240mm post wont transfer into my new Claymore frame because the Claymore is 34.9mm in size (will be better overall just wanted to be cheap and carry mine over)
