@Ahana1: Early (and not-so-early) 29ers felt slow due to poor geometry, not wheel weight, as most believed. 32 will suffer from the same issue, but there's little that can be done to make a 32"-compatible frame feel lively for anyone who isn't well above average height. 32/29 is an option, but there just isn't much that a 29er front wheel is lacking, that a 32 will provide.
Where this new rim standard will really make a difference is on the road, as 700c is too small for folks much over 6'.

I agree that it's terrible when consumers have options, especially when it's someone who has chosen to be excessively tall. It's just plain ol' common sense that if they're happier on their bike, then there'll be less happiness left for the rest of us. Why should we suffer?!

Contrary to what we've been fed for decades, a low CG doesn't make a bike maneuverable, it makes it stable. Moto GP found this out way back in the '80s. You want mass to rotate, not move laterally during cornering transitions. Too low, and it becomes difficult to move quickly, which equals stability.
