Wait did they say that you dont get to wear the rainbow stripes? If so what was the point of saying it was rainbow stripes and giving out jerseys?

@brappjuice: because they won the Jersey as a team and there are no other team events.

@wynmasters: so do they get to wear them at trophy of nations next year?
  • 1 0
@wynmasters: that makes sense but also kind of dumb especially since there is no individual WC for enduro.
  • 2 0
@lyfcycles: normally not as the current world champion doesn’t wear rainbow jersey at world champs
  • 1 0
@wynmasters: but they still get the strips on their regular jerseys right? That would be rad!

@brappjuice: not sure if it will work that way

I didn’t even know there was a S. Korean team, awesome! That country is hilly AF- ripe for MTB to really explode there (paddlesports too). I saw Specialized had some presence there in Seoul. Companies take note!

True. It's funny, even though there isn't tv coverage like in dh, you still can fully relate to the riding just be Media content like wyntv or the summary clips on ews.

I would have thought Kangas was also a contestant for the privateer award. He is ranked 90th and came second.
  • 2 0
For sure he was, but on individual stage results Bart De Vocht took home a 3rd place stage and Kangas best stage was a 14th, which is great all the same! But have to reward the most deserving performance. Hopefully end of season there is a bit left over to reward the others.

@wynmasters: fair enough and I did not want to depreciate Bart’s performance.

Team GB.......yeah sell the medal on ebay!!!!!! disrespectful or what, yeah you must be gutted not to get gold.........but im sure lots of other teams would be more than happy with silver.

Yeah there's a slight tone of bitterness there for sure... Saw on Katy Wintons IG that they got caught behind someone walking their bike down the track. No idea if it's true but could see that being a huge piss off if you lost by 8 seconds
