The funny thing about that is these types of CNC Derailleurs were beginning to take off in the 1990's and Shimano introduced the XTR 950 groupset with V-Brakes. These types of derailleurs disappeared over night. The CNC V-brakes disappeared also because the XTR's were so good and Shimano used predatory pricing to kill the competition.

1980's Williams f1 is probably my favorite (FW08). The white with Blue green and black was so cool, and Keke Rosberg ruled.

Keegan Swenson & Sofia Gomez Villafane Win the Fuego XL at the 2024 Sea Otter Classic
He did the World Cup thing for a few years, whether it's the shorter distance or being in Europe half the year it never really worked for him. His physiology is probably better served as a World Tour road pro but again lots of time away from home.
