you are implying that this housewife only has a set of ODI grips, and does not posses a bike to attach them to, and as a results she is very bored because she can't go mountain biking? And she keeps the grips in her bedroom draw to be tidy?

Development Story: Cannondale's Wild New Single-Sided, Single-Crown XC Fork
I'm all for being different, though i don't buy their claim. I'd argue that the need to have roller bearings in is a direct result of the compromise of only having one 'leg' - with bushes a lefty would be more prone to bush bind than a normal fork with two legs, as all the forces go though one leg and set of bushings, creating more friction. So to get compatible small bump sensitivity they *had* to go with roller bearings. Though at what cost to service life? Also to my previous point expect if they had engineered a normal fork with roller bearings it would perform better than a lefty does now, in lightness, stiffness, and small bump...

Development Story: Cannondale's Wild New Single-Sided, Single-Crown XC Fork
Agree impressive engineering is behind it, though it's interesting that they are very upfront about the fact there is no engineering justification for it - it's all about market differentiation. If they applied the same level of engineering behind a normal fork, presumably it would be lighter / better than all the competition. And if that's indicative of their approach to engineering and priorities, why should I believe that the rest of the bike isn't compromised in the same way?

Video: Descenders MTB Game Out Now
@NoMoreRobots: I think that's fair. If the physics were real, I'd suck at the game as much as I do in real life. If only I could access arcade physics IRL, then maybe I could finally stop sucking at jumping.

Starling Murmur - Review
This guy is really channeling TVR - bolted together in a shed in the arse end of England, out out of alignment and poor paint. Good job it doesn't have an inline six hand grenade bolted in the middle too!

Push ACS3 Coil Conversion Kit - Review
@Boardlife69: it has a miniature air spring as well as the coil. So it still has seals, and presumably still has seal drag. So how is it better? Smaller seals so less drag than a full size air spring?
