@Balgaroth: well, then you have Loic, Greg,Danny, Troy, Matt (and even Reece won WC) on low pivot bikes. So I think it´s fair to say there isn´t one suspension design that is better than all the rest.

How to Accurately Calculate What Spring Rate You Need
@thegoodflow: they do it because it is better in every way, more preload= less initial sensitivity, no way around that. If you talk about tracking, you are either not even close to top out when there is any weight pushing against the suspension or the bike is unweighted and unsprung mass is pulling on the shock together with the spring extending it, far from too slow.

@noideamtber: either your definition of slammed is very different than mine or RM doesn´t know what their frames measurements are (not impossible, just less likely). Size L Altitude has stated max.insertion depth of 280mm, not even close to 297mm insertion of 210mm one up, And yes, revive is definitely longer still.
