Whistler Blackcomb Replacing Fitzsimmons Express Lift in 2023, Some Rolling Trail Closures Expected
@EarIysport: it's almost like they didn't get advance warning of COVID such that they could order and have the lifts manufactured ahead of time...

New Trans BC 'Flex' & 'Shuttle' Course Options Announced
@dirty-sundays: Would you rather get to ride awesome trails every day? Or spend hours cycling on the highway traveling between towns? BC is great for mountain biking, but having every town interconnected by fun bike trails is still a total fantasy. If you want to ride between them on a bike you're looking for a totally different type of event - maybe it's time to take up gravel biking?

Video: The High Speed Corner Challenge - Pinkbike Academy Season 2 EP 3
@K-Laing: Yeah I love my Garmin as a GPS watch but it is trash when it comes to tracking my sleep/energy levels/heart rate. It'll tell my heart rate is 208 when I'm on a casual jog and not even breathing hard yet. Or assume that I'm sleeping for a couple hours if I'm laying in my bed reading or watching a movie. It regularly gives me messages telling me that despite training perfectly my fitness is declining due to my high stress/poor sleep. Guaranteed it's doing her more harm than good looking down and seeing that 5% every day.

Knolly Releases Tyaughton Hardtail in Titanium & Steel
@Sweatypants: My dad was still riding his late-90s era titanium hardtail when he passed away a couple of years back. So it was good for his life. I think he loved that thing more than us kids.

Update: Queenstown Dirt Jumps Saved from Demolition
What is it about billionaires and mountain biking? First the Walmart family decides to turn Bentonville into a mountain biking Mecca, now this. Not that I'm complaining, I've got a few ideas if any other friendly billionaires want to get involved.

Letter from the Editor: Pinkbike’s Next Chapter with Outside
For me it's because I'm already paying for Gaia. Why should I pay the same company twice for a mapping app?
