First Ride: Pivot Shuttle AM eMTB
@tom666: basically they want a low powered motor bike with the throttle built into the pedals. Which is what they are. They may look like bicycles but they ain’t.

First Look: Cervélo's New ZFS-5 XC Bike
@big-red: You might be right. I’ll have to measure the blur as my brother in law has one. I did get a chance to ride the blur and it does ride nice!

First Look: Cervélo's New ZFS-5 XC Bike
Don’t see anyone mentioning the chain stays. As a tall rider who has been looking for an xc bike with longer stays, pretty interested in this bike. Not many (any?) other seriously light race bikes with stays that long in an XL frame that I’ve been able to find. Headset routing blows but probably not a deal breaker for me.

2022 Pinkbike Awards: Innovation of the Year Winner
@Y12Sentinel: Riding a motor bike can be way harder than biking too. So what? It’s still not biking. Some things have ambiguous cut-offs but to me this one is clear. If a motor helps propel you forward, it’s not biking, it’s a form of motor biking. Not saying it doesn’t have a place in the world but it should not be confused with riding a bike even if it looks the same and feels similar in many respects.

Review: Trek's 2023 Fuel EX-e Is Light & Nearly Completely Silent
@jesse-effing-edwards: I’ve never had someone on a shuttle or lift buzz up behind me on a single track climb and ask me to get out of their way so their motor can get them to the top faster. Don’t mind moving for a faster/fitter rider but find it pretty frustrating being asked to move for someone’s motor. If ebikes stayed off single track climbs or stuck to dedicated ebike climbs, I’d have no problem with them.

Trust Chops $725 Off Their Linkage Fork
@mtbikeaddict: I'm no expert but I thought they revolted because they were starving not because they could only afford a $2500 vs a $10,000 bike. So this is the scenario/analogy? The masses asked for simple $1k-ish alloy telescoping forks and Trust said "Let them ride $2k ish carbon linked forks!", then the masses revolted. I just don't see it.
