Totally valid points about the age and getting used to the magic carpet ride qualities of a properly designed/equipped fully! But... I honestly don't believe all Hardtails are built equal. I built myself (44 when finished) a dreambike based on a Banshee Enigma - yes aluminum of all materials... Played with 2 difderent iterations 160mm fork - 27.5 both wheels, and then 140mm fork and mullet... 1st setup was good, 2nd and final one... is beyond my wildest expectations! Shoutout to the Banshee engineers! I tested the Enigma for a weekend in a german Bikepark doing laps, but also the enduro trails and people where turning their heads... I'm not that good to bring it to a DH track but I'm pretty sure it can take it - surely not as fast as a DH or enduro rig... but you get the point... And yes... my knees and ankles survived just fine. Just saying... it is possible! :-) Last thing: this is a sweet looking titanium bike!
