Nerding Out: Are More People Watching World Cup DH Racing in 2023?
Seems to me that there would be a negative correlation between You Tube views of highlights and actual race viewership. I don't watch highlights of races I watch live/replay coverage of; more people watching free recaps on You Tube probably means fewer people are actually tuning in to watch the whole race. That would mean fewer eyes on (and fewer opportunities for) privateers or young riders who don't make it into highlight vids.

5 Things We Learned from Red Bull Rampage 2021
Gotta love Pinkbike, people spend two weeks complaining that Rampage is too slopestyle and then are outraged when the runs with bigger airs and more raw sections outscore the more groomed (still extremely gnarly) runs with cool tricks.

For Paris 2024 surfing is going to be held at Tehupo'o. In Tahiti. I'd say that opens the door to hold an Olympic DH race on the Les Gets track!
