Pinkbike Poll: Do You Risk Riding Alone?
My local trails are well trafficked by other riders and hikers, so I don’t ride more cautiously when solo since I’m never truly “solo”. That said, if I’m squeezing in a quick pedal at sunset I definitely take things easier knowing nobody will find my body until the next morning.

He is a fascinating character on so many levels: traveled the carnival circuit with his family as a kid, raced junior DH worlds, built his own carbon fiber frames and components in his garage, including wild high pivot gearbox designs with 29” wheels a full decade before anyone else, currently lives in northern NM and still shreds, the list goes on…
