PRICE DROP: Bontrager Rhythm Elite Wheelset

$350 USD
I've got a brand new set of 29" Bontrager Rhythm Elite wheels up for grabs. I got these as I was getting stared on building a 29" AM rig, but that project has fallen to the wayside recently and is now getting pushed to next year as work ramps into our busy season. This set was purchased for $1,000, and I'm now looking for $350. I also have a set of unused (also new in packaging) 29" Conti MountainKing II 2.4 tires I could throw in for $65 more. Detail from Trek website posted below - Ride everything the way you want — Rhythm Elite is a tasty cocktail of lightweight toughness. Strong enough for a punishing descent with enough stiff svelteness to hammer back up and drop in again. Features like RapidDrive, Reinforced Spoke Nodes, and Stacked Lacing assure no trail is too gnarly for this versatile, all-mountain wheel. Key features Rapid Drive hub design instantly transfers effort into forward momentum Reinforced Spoke Nodes feature localized material to strengthen rim Stacked lacing alignment provides a better spoke bracing angle for a stiffer wheel Tubeless Ready (TLR) rims allow for quick transition to tubeless system upgrade Offset spoke bed reduces wheel dish for stiff and stable performance Lightweight alloy rim (28mm outer, 22.5mm inner width) with 3-pawl drive system 6 bolt QR15 front hub, 135/142 rear hub Includes Tubeless Ready (TLR) rim strip and TLR valve

Loved it! Cut scenes were entertaining, riding was super impressive, and one of my favorite soundtracks in a MTB vid! Nicely done!

I tear up every time I watch this. Stevie's story has been so public to all of us ever since Seasons so many years ago. I think because of this many of us connected with him to a much greater extent than almost any other prominent figure in the biking world. I've honestly been more broken up about Stevies passing than the deaths of some of my own distant family members... Despite this communities tremendous loss, Stevie has left an immense and lasting impression. He has shown us that with a dream and a passion, no goal should be dismissed as too lofty. That a humble and kind personality is always more likable than moody one. That no matter how big the obstacles, how turbulent the path, we must always persist. Despite having never met Stevie, I love and miss him like a good friend. Safe travels brother! I would love to see some sort of Stevie tribute apparel or art that contributes to the Legacy fund. Please do a colab piece!!! b>#LONGLIVECHAINSAW/B>

Cheers to the Chainsaw
I definitely cried a little while reading this. Stevie was the reason I too started watching world cup races. After seeing him in seasons it was so fun to follow his story, and I can honestly say that he has always been my favorite rider. It seems rare for such a strong connection to form between a mtb athlete and their fan base, but I think seeing Stevie in films when he was so fresh, and watching him work toward and reach that top step has really gotten a lot of us very invested in his story. Its hard to overstate how much I will miss watching this guy. He is a true MTB legend that will never be forgotten.
