I like the to roll on trails, but i'm not a racer, and i don't wanna be a racer...
I just love the freedom when i ride my bike.

As former owner of www.black-market.ro webshop i know enough about bike market. Not much, but enough for me to understand there are no more real "mountainbikers" in this industry. Just profit oriented corporations and businessmans ... R.I.P. those good old days of mountainbiking :'(

Tech Tuesday: How & Why to Upgrade Your Pads and Rotors
"If they are sharp, square edges, it is likely a higher-quality rotor and you’re free to use the pad of your choice. If they are slightly rounded or chamfered, you may have a resin-only rotor." Just tell this to Shimano. They started with the SLX, then now also the XT rotors are stamped and made in China, while a few years ago both SLX and XT were laser-cut rotors. BTW, thx Shimano, for lower quality at a higher price!

Review: 3 Mountain Bike Handguards Ridden & Rated
Wonder if the popularity of these will last as long as neck braces' :D Few years back, everyone looked weird to you, if you had no neck brace, even for a Sunday afternoon ride through the park. It was so important for your safety, that NOONE use them anymore, not even @ UCI DH races. Live long overrated bike products! BTW, it's just as stupid thing, as the derailleur guard decades ago :)) During a crash could cause more problems than protection it has. But don't listen to me, hurry, go and buy +130g of weight for $80, then cry because of your titanium screw kit for your bike costs $300, while saving you around 27g ;) Spend smart, not hard.

Field Test: 6 Downcountry Bikes VS the Efficiency Test
...and with different tyre pressure (let's say 10 PSI, with 2 PSI increments/run), also for different height/frame size, and different body weight. I know it sounds like a lot, but I don't care! :P (PB community will pay you the beer and sandwiches for this project)

A few years ago when we saw a $11.2k ebike, it was super-expensive. Now a "simple" enduro bike can costs that much :(

Further weight savings (like 4-5g!): peel off the stickers. For an incredible -18g, unpainted version. LVL 9999 of featherness: wash out all of the grease from bearings -> saves around 6 more grams.
