SRAM Announces New Budget-Friendly Guide Brakes
@grizwald: i am a mechanic in a shop and in the last year or so must have send 30-40 shimano levers back for warranty, they work fine if your a bit of a mincer but the levers fail pretty consistently if your a harder/faster rider, sram on the other hand simply need to be bled properly, something few people seem to be able to do in my experience, if you need to watch a tech video to bleed a brake you really shouldn't be doing it.

Deity: The Outlaw Featuring Joe Smith - Video
@lostlunchbox: the difference is no one really cares if its wet in wales, we just get on with riding. in fact lots of trails improve through being ridden in the wet, blows of all the mulshy black topsoil and gets down to firmer stuff.

The Campaign for Worse Bicycles – Opinion
my guess would be that its his current bike, i own the exact same bike and have made the exact same mods plus a couple more. put a 160mm airshaft in the 34's offset bush in the shock largest but 1 volume reducer in the shock. 40mm stem. hey presto a 27lb bike with 425mm stays, 65deg head angle. fairly low BB. and handling that is incredibly precise. plus a lifetime warranty on a carbon frame, something very very few manufacturers offer.
