Not So Fast: How Dropper Posts Created Steep Seat Tube Angles
I donĀ“t think that article is right. My Giant AC Team had a insanely slack seat angle. The only reason for that was, that nobody thought a bike a lot longer would be rideable. German magazines always told us that longer bikes are not turnable ;). It definitely needed small companies like Nicolai and Pole to change that. It had nothing to do with dropper posts. Back then you dropped your saddle by hand as far as possible.

Throwback Thursday: Chris Porter's Prototype, 3 Air Chamber Fork From 10 Years Ago That Nobody Noticed
Not really. Z1 feels really bad compared to a modern 36. Shiver DC und SC were very sensitive but had basically no compression damping. Dorado still is one of the greatest forks in my opinion. It just shows how far away Manitou was back in the days with their damping system.

Video: Winning Run - Hardline 2019
@fabdemaere: funny comment. I think he has way more insight than RC. He used to race worldcups for quite a while and owned a professional UCI-DH-Team. Who should have more insight?

Video: Kate Courtney's World Cup and World Championship Winning Training Routine
"Talent, it may not go that deep" - Darren Berrecloth Dedication and even more important durability. Your body has to deal with that amount of training. I know extremely talented guys that never made it to the top. Just because the body was not able to train as much. So the less talented guy passed by with a lot of training. And your stomach has to handle the rhyno power. ;)

Final Randoms from the Pits - Nove Mesto World Cup XC 2019
I really do not understand why a LT Hardtail should make sense. If the trails are smooth it ist fun (but you don't need so much travel) and if the trails are really rough the rear wheel would only last for days. So why should anyone buy this bike? But it looks great.

Especially for a flat pedal rider the 29" wheels should be better. Less bouncing around.
