Video: The Trail-Building Journey of Max McCulloch in Cumberland in 'Life of a Trail'
I misread the title as Cumbernauld and then flicked through the pics thinking "this doesn't look like the Cumbernauld that I've been to before" (its a desolate wasteland outside Glasgow).

Now THAT Was a Bike: 2016 Pole Evolink
Struggling to think of another manufacturer who went straight in at the deep end and gradually made a great product worse.

Bike Check: Evan Wall's Haro Greer Prototype Enduro Bike
Did Turner really have bike suspension design right in the 90s with the Burner etc because loads of designs seem to come and go and one of the few constants is this 4-bar/Horst whatever you call it design. Looks awesome and works awesome. Why have anything else. Good work Haro/Trek/Raaw/Privateer/Turner/Airdrop/Club Roost/Kona etc who've all done this in the past.

Shouldn't an innovator create something new but that offers a benefit to the way you do something or work? Outside of the Pole marketing spiel, I can't see any benefit at all in the way they've chosen to build their frames and what they've ended up with is something massively ugly which has been too expensive to produce for the volumes they sell. There is a lot to be said for a traditionally welded frame... it works.

First Ride: The Sub-$600 RockShox Domain and Psylo Forks
@gulogulointhearctic: Recon I think was the cheaper Revelation (trail fork, bolt-thru option etc). Don't think there was a cheap Pike? As long as they don't bring back the Indy name we're all good (unless they also intend on bringing back elastomers and as much back/forth flex as up and down).
