First Ride: Canyon & Liteville Debut 'KIS' Self-Centering Steering Technoloy - Tech Week 2023
Can imagine the marketeers discussing this one. "What "standard" shall we invent next?" "Wider hubs?" "No, done that a few times - let's leave that one for a year or two" "Bigger tyres?" "Done it too but the public realise it was crap" "2wd ebikes?" "Too soon. Too soon. We're still trying to deal with the schmucks who don't think they want an ebike at all. Win them over to the idea of 70lb lumps of motor driven lead and we can try the 2wd thing" "What else then? "Let's invent something we can flog. An idea. You know everyone moans about the steering on slack bikes?" "No?" "Yeah whatever. Everyone moans about slack bikes so let's attach a spring to the steerer, tell the public it's to fix 'wheelflop' and get a few manufacturers to jump in with the idea" "Sounds crap. Will anyone actually believe this garbage" "It's either this or superdoopaboost hubs" "OK, wheelflop it is....."

WTD: Pashley 24MHz / Retro Jump Frame

$100 GBP
Hi all. After a new project and really fancy another Pashley 24MHz if anyone knows of one knocking about? Frame only ideally or full bike considered and any condition considered. Failing that, I'd be tempted by a small Orange MsIsle too (think they were the 14" ones?), small Santa Cruz Chameleon mk1/mk2, .243 Racing, 24Bikes Le Toy, Curtis Super X, Balfa Minuteman etc. Cheers, Dave

"Tim likes simplicity". Hides shock in top tube. Nice looking bike though and the weight figures etc are impressive!

First Ride: Whyte E-160 RSX 29er
In fact I'll keep going. Said it before but if electric powered 60lb e-bikes that are nearly 7 grand for a base spec one are the future of mountain biking, its making me want to buy a rigid singlespeed even more. Just go the whole hog and remove the wheels and make them hover bikes and whiz around forests defying gravity.
