First Look: Santa Cruz V10 Carbon 2013
davehayz93, the article says, it still uses a 150mm hub: "it's the same hub spacing, but there are 3-millimeter indexing insets in the frame for the axle to seat into". So the extra spacing is for ease of wheel removal.

EXCLUSIVE: DVO Emerald Inverted DH Fork - First Look
Starwars: I don't think larger stanchions are needed due to the inverted design. Most of the forces should be taken up by the outer tubes.

"Try before you buy"? Haha, I guess that means you are offering a loaner CCDB Air to me? Message me on my Pinkbike account!

You have the wrong assumption, if you think the DB coil shock is weaker due to the thinner shaft! It's a solid shaft and not a hollow thin walled tube. Another positive item, less stiction/friction, due to less surface area on the thinner shaft.

You will have enough range on the adjustments to set it for your bike.
Sometimes, another brand of shock may need to go past the max or min on the rebound and/or compression adjustments to get the shock to work with the frame design. In this case, the shock will need to be sent to a tuning center to have it re-shimmed. Shock and tune will cost more than just buying a CCDB.

Are you referring to the Mojo or the Mojo HD? I have the HD version. Cane Creek DB Coil Base Tune database does have a tune on the Mojo HD.
So your saying both shocks work, but the Air will be more balanced? When you say "balanced" - does that mean all the adjustments are closer to the middle of its range?
I guess I have to just try it out to feel what you guys are feeling.
