Is it just me or does this season of DH have more injuries than before? Coincidently the same season the tracks are changed up, made faster for the viewers pleasure supposedly…….

@Mosko: haha you’re right. I completely forgot about motocross. I see what you’re saying. I don’t know what it is about this season of DH but it’s hard to watch, I used to love waking up early and watching finals and now it seems like it’s all dumbed down. Years ago I remember watching motocross and the multiple heats was still exciting. With DH though I don’t get that excitement. This new format combined with the commentary is such a turn off. I enjoy watching the individual runs, Dialed and various riders videos on YouTube instead. They provide much better onsite and story on the races.

Semi Finals really takes away from the excitement of Finals. I can’t think of many sports where the athletes have to push it to the limit twice in the same day.
The commentary really doesn't make sense to me either at times.
