Must Watch: Mark Wallace, Dillon Butcher, Daniel Fleury & Cole Nichol Explore Scenic Trails in 'Arthur'
Gives me Life Cycles vibes, beautifully shot, cinematic, paced perfectly with the soundtrack - nailed it! Love it, well done!

Beautifully shot, nice flow, awesome typography/title design! Im really into conceptual edits like this. I find far more articulation and depth out of them, in comparison to "yesterdays" 'why can't we just make bike films about biking' fisheye-point-and-shoot-static-angles (which don't take me out of context: that style of editing does have its genre, with riders and fans. It can still have its place). I absolutely love the standard of here and now (as far as camera technology/techniques go). I always look forward to seeing how DOP's actively seek to progress into new territory...and holy sh*t!...it can't be easy; the benchmark of cinematography nowadays is so so high. Maybe the bandwagon of 'haters' could treat this like a music festival: You're not into this style of music? Thats perfectly fine. But please try to refrain for throwing your pint of smelly piss at the main act! Im more than sure the band don't appreciate it, and to be honest, a majority of the crowd don't really like piss either. Just cruise on over to another stage.

That edit was cool as f*ck btw ... the lapse of the bike at 00:45 was sick! Props to the videographer.

I already had a lot of respect for Ratboy, but now I have way more! (Ali-G respect for him) I can only assume: If the WC circuit gets in the way, and doesn’t fully facilitate a platform towards achieving his personal and/or company goals/plans/projects etc, then, it makes complete sense to take a step away. Why wouldn’t you…? It’s flexible and adaptable people in the industry (whatever the industry) who survive. With his 10+ years of industry connections, and rubbing shoulders with creatives like SteelCityMedia (and many many more I’m sure), the biggest bike companies in the business, of course things will spark off and spiderweb. No doubt. Naturally, there will be a whole lot of support for him, already being expressed here from his fans. Whatever direction he progresses into, he’s a very likeable character, oozing with more style on a bike than you can shake a stick at. WC racing or not, he'll have fans. To counteract that though, (naturally…) there are some negative vibes being expressed here. People who are dishing out gloomy comments and opinions … Whilst presumably you sit there in your dark bedroom, still living with your parents...farting away...treating yourself to fists full of homemade cupcakes … cranking yourself to sleep, into a pillow of empty dreams … consider trying not to compare your cupcake-cranking existence to RatBoy’s existence, or anyone else that you have an urge to sh*t on, for that matter. Because, it kind of sounds like you are. Instead, take some inspiration from it into your own life. Put yourself into his shoes for just a moment…just imagine...at 26 years old, a successful and experienced DH career to date…major sponsors, the “dream” yeah, isn’t it? …. to then make the choice of stepping out the WC circuit, knowing you will be in the firing line of criticism, then get asked the inevitable questions of; "so what next? What next? What next??” …… That takes balls! SteelCityBalls, RatBalls, whatever kind of balls you’re into, it takes a lot of them. What doesn't take balls, is radiating pessimism. There is a human on the other end, receiving your negativity. Comments posted marinaded with varying amounts of venom, are just highlighting the fact, that the person who posted it shouts out loud: “something in my life just now is crap! So I’m going to crap on someone else! Everything’s crap! Crap crap crap!" Hence why I encourage; take inspiration from Ratboy. If not, at least show some respect towards him. Me personally, I’m excited to see what unfolds in his new chapter, and wish him all the best! Keep it raw Rat!
