Video: Not Your Typical XC Ride With Chris Akrigg
I love watching Semanuk or Danny Mac but I can't relate to what they're doing because it's just SO far out there. I know I couldn't do 10% of what Chris does on a bike but it's somehow so relatable and that's what makes his edits stand out. Always amazing and always make me want to ride. (Plus extra points for a hardtail vid)

Video: That Time Jinya Rode Trespasser On A Hardtail - Throwback Thursday
@optimumnotmaximum: Maybe you just need to give it more time? It takes a while to get your hardtail skills back on point especially because of how easy it is to get away with lazy technique on a full sus. Where I live and ride its really rough and rocky. Yes there are some trails where unless I go deliberately slowly things can get out of hand pretty quickly. But even on those trails, I like that I have to back it off. It puts me into a different headspace where it becomes about flow and smoothness and not trying to fly down the trail like I do on my dualie. Anyway, I get that it doesnt make sense. Some people get it, some never will.

Video: That Time Jinya Rode Trespasser On A Hardtail - Throwback Thursday
Each to their own... After 25 years of owning every genre of bike imaginable, nothing puts a smile on my dial like my steel hardtail.

The Tuesday Tune Ep 22 - Inside the Monarch Plus and Super Deluxe
Hey Steve - love your videos - incredibly informative. What would add a great element to these video's from my p.o.v. would be to discuss, using this video as an example, what someone who has the older shock can do / have done to address performance deficits. I realise you probably want to avoid any insinuations that you're trying to drum up business but it would be useful for anyone to know what options you suggest. Would really like to see this approach with other shocks like Cane Creek, Fox etc. Couple of other requests while I'm at it: - Inline vs, piggyback shocks on trail bikes: At what point will it make a difference? - Will a revalve / modification of any shock make it better (to address manufacturing compromises - assuming the work is done by a good company and well suited to the rider OR or some shocks pretty hard to improve upon?) - What is your shock of choice? (doesn't mean it's better - just interested in what you personally choose) Thanks! p.s. just installed Luftkappe - brilliant!

Great Whites, Elephants and Massive Jumps: Monet Adams Heads to South Africa - Video
Mad respect for doing that roll-in. I've stood up there and it made me feel sick.

The Tuesday Tune Ep 5: Low- and High-Speed Damping - Video
Excellent video Steve. Well done for making something so complex relatively easy to understand. What would be very helpful would be for you to recommend a set-up procedure. For example, given the interplay / effect of HSC on LCS - would you recommend setting HSC with zero LSC and then progressively increasing LSC untill the right feel is achieved OR vice versa? Keep these coming please. I've been tuning bikes for years but your video's only prove it's never too late to keep learning!

A Granite State Ride - Video
That's mountain biking. None of that twisty-flippy-spinny bullshit. This is the first video I've seen in months that actually makes me want to ride.
