Opinion: Five Things The Bike Industry Could Do Better
I searched the comments before posting this, but the difference in seat tube diameters is the result of different tube sizes of raw material. A molded carbon frame could be a standardized size across the board, but there are still tube aluminum and steel bikes out there where you see the smaller size seat tubes. There is no way boost made wheels stronger (than 150x20), there's no way metric made shocks more reliable. I feel like I'm running around with a pair of they live glasses

@Mntneer: I'll wager that they mostly have above average bike riding skills. It's their writing skills that are average at best

eMTB XC Results from the Val di Sole World Championships 2021
What would be a version of this that makes sense? Maybe an enduro with 3x the elevation and tight transfer times

Will Mountain Bikes Be Allowed in US Wilderness Areas Any Time Soon?
I think they should consider banning hiking boots from wilderness. The big lugs really chew up the trails, and people can hike up steep grades at a faster rate which accelerates wear. While it's nice in theory that these boots will allow more people to enjoy the sport than before, we should consider the impact that an expanding user base will lead to.
