Pinkbike Poll: Are You a Brand Loyalist?
I have 9 or 10 bikes in the family fleet, so standardization became a thing. I follow the following points to minimize my pain through maintenance and interchangeability:
- DT swiss hubs, preferably classic ratchet
- Hayes dominion if DOT, Shimano brakes if Mineral though my son prefers Magura to Shimano.
- Preferably Shimano Drivetrain but Sram is also good they both have their + and -, no Transmission and preferably cable actuated (only outlier is my Stumpy 15)
- Regardless of shifting crank must be shimano w/24mm spindle w/ BSA BB
- Oneup post Gen 2 or 3
- if Click pedal than Shimano SPD, they are the most reliable.
- Handlebars: only 31.8mm
- 6 bolt rotors only (180mm for my son's and my Epic)

Review: Stinner Romero MT - A US-Made Steel Trail Bike That's Better With Mixed Wheels
For larger companies, especially if they are incorporated, the real customer is not the end user or whoever, it is the shareholder. The goal is to maximize value for them, so this does not necessarily mean that the values for the actual customer are also maximized along the way. Not to mention externalities usually covered by society and/or taxpayers. Communist banter incoming in 3,2,1...

Aenomaly Unveils SwitchGrade Pro Saddle Angle Adjuster
This product is a godsend. Especially for tall fellas and ebike riders (the latter tend to ride more while sitting). I have two currently, and will purchase another one as here in the Alps it's steep, I mean, there are sections above 20%, and the saddle angle on those makes a huge difference!
