Elite Direto direct drive smart trainer(s). I picked these up at auction as part of a job lot of 5 which means I can sell them at approx £200 under RRP and still make a little bit for myself. One of the five has gone to a friend and one wasn't complete so I have 3 left. As I don't have much history with them they are sold as seen and unless Elite will honour the warranty (I haven't asked them) they don't have one. If they did I'd be selling for £600ish! What I have done is take the following steps so I can sell them in good faith and reduce any risk for a buyer: All trainers have been checked for visible signs of damage..There aren't any. In fact they are all in excellent condition (if I bought one new and it looked this good I'd be fine with it). The only marks are on the legs where they've been fitted at some point and on the freehubs there are VERY small witness marks from a cassette that may have been fitted at some point. None of these are visible once the trainer is set-up for use. All boxes have been checked to make sure all the parts and accessories are present and correct. They all are, including matching serial no. manuals and even the hex keys for fitting the legs with. The only thing that appears to be missing from a couple of them is the polystyrene lid from the packaging... All trainers have been tested for power and connectivity: They all power up fine. They all transmit ANT+ and Bluetooth signals as expected. They all connect via ANT+ and BT as expected. All trainers have been test ridden using Zwift. I used the freehub from the 5th unit for this so as not to mark up the others. They connect and behave as you would expect on Zwift. Power, Cadence (and therefore speed) all read fine. The resistance of the trainers change as expected both due to gradient and due to changes in the Zwift settings. Resistance during testing was strong and consistent. Testing was a couple of KM up and downhill on Zwift, there's a point where you're testing and another where the item becomes used...I did enough where I was happy everything was working as it should and then stopped. I'm happy if you want to test before you buy...within reason, no Gran Fondo's. I've been as honest as I can, I suspect these are ex-display units from a closed down bike shop. They certainly haven't been used much if at all. Feel free to message me direct with any questions. I'm open to discounts for bulk buying if you want more than one.
