The minute they went away from their "250 Watt" limit they stopped being emtb's and became motor bikes. The Ecvt is required to not detonate a normal drivetrain. These companies should be held accountable for staying within the limits or the bikes should be classified as motorcycles, and only allowed on OHV trails

@sophisticatedhonky: I've ridden many e bikes, used all of the modes and I can confirm in anything other than eco mode the pedals are just a throttle. eco mode requires similar effort to riding a normal bike on the flats.

Shimano Launches Cable-Actuated XT Drivetrain

My favourite part of watching old mtb videos is when they mic up the bike and it sounds like dropping a cutlery drawer down the hill. To me the clutch derailleur is a better innovation than the dropper post. unfortunately shimano doesn't feel the same way
