Check Out: Manual Machines, Plastic Pedals, Body Armor, Camo Seats, & More
Metal for me. Ht components basic model that cost 65 € here. Works perfectly. Ive destroyed nukeproof plastic pedals in less than two rides with rock strikes. My broken pedal has blocked my shoe several times during my last ride, it was a real deal not to fall stupidly. Plastic is good if you have paths in good shape, and/or a good riding technique to avoid pedals strikes. Two much rocks here and a lack of riding style for me... sorry. :-/

Ridden & Rated: 4 of the Best eMTB Motor Systems for 2020 - Bosch vs Brose vs Shimano vs Fazua
In several years, if my hub or my battery is dying, I could use again this bike or sold it. Im curious to know where all of these bikes with proprietary motors will end their life... :-/

Got a bafang hub motor on one of my fatbikes. Its ugly, but all is replacable and its perfect for trailbuilding, going to the grocery and so. Need a 1000 € budget to build a complete kit with a good battery. Bafang is a good alternative, especially with a bb motor. I choose the hub for an esayest maintenance and capability to go back to a normal bike in 15 minutes. The bb motor is better for serious offroad. Ive run about 1300 km with, no sign of fatigue... The others systems are better almost everywhere but I dont like the proprietary tools and parts. And its way more expansive.

The Pinkbike Podcast: Episode 8 - Do We Need an Even Larger Wheel Size?
Its a pain in the ass finding good fat tires in the existant sizes. Cars tires are cheaper than good 29er tires... Please keep alive or optimize existing things instead creating new needs. Our planet is not unlimited !
