First Ride: The 2024 Pivot Switchblade Gets Updated, Not Overhauled

@leopuurd: Not many people ride Pivot bikes in my country. I've auctually servised a Switchblade where you could press out the bearings with your thumbs which is also sad. The bike had a hole on the frame where the rubber protector is behind the bb. A stone got stuck there and it rubbed a hole in the frame. Worst experience ever with that brand.

No one is gonna comment that Pivot don't cover their bearings?? You can literally see them without taking the frame apart.

Atherton Bikes Launch Direct to Consumer Website Sales

@endorium: same price as which trek slash 9? The slash 9.8 GX AXS costs 1200£ less than the Atherton base model and you get an even better parts on the bike, carbon wheelset and carbon frame with storage. Everything nowadays in the bike industry has gone mad. For example, the deore and xt 12spd cassettes. Are 2 aluminium rings really worth as almost 2 deore cassettes?

Nobody has mentioned freewheel systems on budget bikes. That crap should be sold only on kids bikes where the axle can handle the weight.
