Oak Components Announces New SRAM Compatible Brake Levers
@ChazzMichaelMichaels: same here! Dangerboys on my hope m6s. Still run them on my Enduro bike. I'm waiting for someone to pick up the torch and bring them back to production for newer brakes.

Archibald Cycles Announces Production-Ready, Customizable AC1 Enduro Bike
@archibaldcycles: could you elaborate on the bearings? Working at a shop I see a strong correlation between bearing id/od ratio and lifespan. Are they teeny 6801 that a stump jumper chews through every few months, or something chonkier? Perhaps dual row for more rigidity and lifespan per Evil bikes?

First Look: Fair Bicycle's Drop Best Offset Saddle Clamp is Universally Compatible
If, say, someone had immediately hopped on the OG Drop best the same day the product drop was announced, loved the product, and now unfortunately has it sitting purposeless because they have moved on from the Reverb droppers... would there be any hope in retroactively making the V1 compatible with a oneup V2 post?

Sep 2, 2021Santa Cruz V10 Size M
$1250 USD2009 Santa Cruz V10 Downhill Race Bike
This is the last year of Santa Cruz’s DH Race Bikes when they were absolute monsters.
This frameset has 254mm of rear wheel travel. That is 10 inches of travel.
This bike has only ever had one owner. I purchased it new and lovingly built it up with each specific part that I wanted.
Mechanic Owned.
Everything has just been serviced.
New Frame Bearings. Full fork service and damper rebuild. Rear shock service. Wheels trued, drivetrain tuned.
The component build is as follows
Frame: 2009 Santa Cruz v10 – size medium – Hard anodized black finish
Aluminum front and rear triangle with carbon fiber upper link and rear shock debris protector/fender
Forks: 2010 Rockshox Boxxer World Cup – 4-way adjustable independent high and low speed rebound and compression
Rear shock: 2014 Cane Creek Double Barrel Air – 4-way adjustable independent high and low speed rebound and compression
Wheels: Sun Ringle Double Track rims laced to hand built Hadley v10 signature rear hub – set up by Mike Hadley himself for this frame. Front hub is a Loco. Maxxis DHF and DHR combo tires with DH casings. Front tire @ 90%, rear tire @ 70%.
Drivetrain: RaceFace Diabolus crankset with Blackspire 38t chainring, Sram X9 rear derailleur with DH cassette, MRP G2 Chain Guide
Cockpit: Chris King headset, Sunline V-one 762mm flat bars, Twenty6 components direct mount stem
Thompson Elite Seatpost with Marzocchi Saddle
-Bike comes with an extra Derailleur hangar
-Bike does not come with brakes. If you need help spec-ing some we can talk and I might be able to help you out.
I am selling this bike for two reasons.
1. Size medium is a bit too small for me now. I wish it weren’t the case.
2. I am moving out of the country soon, and as the bike doesn’t fit me well anymore, it cannot come with me,
The bike has some cosmetic scratches, but they are few and mostly on the rear triangle. Thankfully, the hard anodized frame finish is quite tough. Otherwise, especially for it’s age, I would say that the bike is in excellent to immaculate condition. It has been, and still is very much loved.
This thing truly rips, can still handle any DH course you set in front of it, and keep up with many of the newer bikes. 254mm of rear travel is truly bottomless.
This would be a fantastic bike for a younger person jumping into the sharp end of the sport, or a great rig to use as a park bike for smashing out laps at a lift access area. The only thing this bike doesn’t do well is pedal uphill. 10 inches of rear travel and a dh cassette do not lend themselves to climbing.
I am open to serious offers, please reach out and let me know what you have in mind.
Cheers!

Enduro Bikes Galore, Including a Prototype GT - EWS Chile 2018
With the bolt on piggy back of Cecile's shock, I wonder if someone could do a clever reroute and put it on backwards to allow more water bottle clearance. The frame space up front isn't being used...
