Silviafilms clearly needs to come back.

@Monarch87: With a full length movie. OMG, I'll cry in happiness.

Can this be ridden in a straight line too or just in total best mode?
  • + 10
I think it has different dropouts to run straight line.
  • + 5
 Matt Miles doesn't ride straight.

Rad video. Finally the EVO getting some more love from the Big S marketeers.

It isnt available yet. They estimated late August so now the marketing train can get rolling

@JacksonTM: Quite a few shops already have EVOs available.

@ddspaz: specialized didnt even have evos last I checked but that was a week ago.
  • + 4
@JacksonTM: check out the Specialized forum on mtbr. Lots are out there.
  • + 3
 @JacksonTM: it’s available rn in both 650 and 29er
  • + 2
@pogan: my dudes, I'm not sure how though since I'm talking that as a specialized dealer i cannot order any evos yet. They have been projected late August since they were announced. I believe yall. I'm just confused how other shops are getting them from specialized if their B2B site doesn't have them.
  • + 1
@JacksonTM: I work in a french spesh shop and the evo stumpy seem to be reserved to american customers...
  • + 1
@RobotSaucissonCop: I'm in an american one so I'm lost haha

A big shout out to the builders, beautifully placed rollers and those burns, wow. Earth is so cool.
  • + 3
Thanks! We were digging on the trail featured at the end of the video
  • + 8
appears to be defective, rear wheel is never going straight
  • + 5
Wow! Its been a long time since I've watched a MTB edit from beginning to end. Thanks for breaking the drought!
  • + 4
Am I the only one who’s wondering what purpose this serves when they’ve already got the Enduro? It just seems like a shorter travel enduro to me ????
  • + 3
Except 2 degrees slacker, the stumpy evo is. So the real question is wot the new enduro will be.
  • + 1
@AnthonyQDJ: not goin to be ‘enduro’ anymore. I heard ‘Stumpjumper LT’ (long travel).
Also the demo is losing its name too, don’t know what the new name is tho??
Specs doin some re-naming next year......
Great!!
  • + 1
I also dont understand why the Jarred and Curtis are racing what are atleast meant to appear to be standard stumpys.

Is it a marketing stunt and they would be better on enduros?
Are they stumpjumpers in name only and custom bikes that just look like stumpys to a casual glance?
Are the race team really saying its a better enduro bike than the enduro in which case why would anyone buy an enduro?

I saw one on display at the ArdRock, not available yet in the UK - maybe late September? It looks a beast. I think the rear is the same as the current stumpy but the front is longer and it has got a 63.5 HA !!!! 150 mm front 140 back. They have 2 sizes - long and longer S2 and S3.

I would love to try one, if this bike can pedal too it will be the ONE for me!
  • + 2
Agreed, especially if it then gets a carbon brother with the lunch box
  • + 1
29er frame, angleset, 24 out back - your HA would effectively be into the 50s even before the Super Monster
  • + 1
@CM999: Just read a review that this bike is not a great pedaler as the BB is so low that will keep on hitting everything..

And raw aluminium for me! Fed up with cracked carbon frames! Aluminum is the new carbon!

So basically a skateboard with bigger wheels. Good job, Spec.
  • + 2
 RIDE IT DON'T SLIDE IT.

Actually never mind, slide all you want Matty, it looks too good dammit. How even is that looseness possible?!

  • + 2
Don't know where this is but for sure not Valemount
  • + 1
 @dsoicher: kamloops bike ranch
  • + 1
@asiam: the last bit was definitely not the bike ranch. Valemount for sure.
  • + 3
@jaydawg69: the last bit looked like Fernie to me. www.trailforks.com/trails/contra
  • + 1
@DMal: looks like Fernie to me too.
  • + 1
@dsoicher: Think the last section was Contra trail in Fernie.
  • + 1
Matty Miles! Sick Shredit. Bike really shined in the steep stuff at the end.
  • + 1
