These movies keeps me inspired to ride my bike, but due to being a fulltime Hospital night worker I feel sorry for my Bike collecting dust in the garage...Lucky riders, they're enjoying the Limelight & having fun on what they do & getting paid big bucks as well at the same time! will resign next week if anybody offers me to become a professional rider LOL (I wish!!!) c",)OoOOoo----
MTB dirt jumping......it always seems to be a wooden kicker to mellow landing, repeat. Always seems to be the same tricks too or who can do the most whips. Need someone to make a video on some BMX style trails with some BMX style flow. Quality of tricks over quantity any day.......Rant over.
Just ordered 2012 Devinci Wilson frameset... best decision ever. Canada f*cking rules; I'm totally moving there if Obama looses to a Republican. I downhill mountain bike and I have no health insurance and that sucks... our healthcare system is far beyond a disgrace in the industrialized world.
i agree, sorry to bash usa and the great nation it actually is. but there are flaws in every system, but that is besides the point! wanna move in with me? im gonna need a roommate in a couple months haha. seriously.
Why would you move if a republican is in office? Obamacare has done nothing for america, except piss people off. I Would vote for anyone else BUT obama. Plus a republican would lower taxes, thus i dont have to pay an extra $300 in taxes for a new bike! Think of it that way.
Can't speak for people inside America, but fr those of us outside, Obama is gradually clawing back the respect of the rest of the world... I really hope he gets in again.
obama has already lowered taxes for most americans downhiller101. he just doesn't get as much publicity for it because its not for the wealthiest americans but for the ones who actually need a break
If you have some specific examples that be great! But for right now ObyGobyWanoby we need to cut the coproate income tax rate in half this would make our businesses competative around the globe(from 35% to 17.5%). We must eliminate the coporate income tax for manufacturers (35% to 0%( this will spur middle income job creation in the united states... just a few listed but i can go on and on. Im not speaking on behalf of the american people, im speaking on behalf of the american businesses. Not enough publicity? The liberal media of america is having too much fun making fun of the GOP canidats. His approval rating flucuates based upon the market like any presidents has.
to think that most people thought front flips were the impossible a few years back on any machine. now people are throwing it down on snowmobiles... someone just took that title landing it in yesterdays winter x games w/o a foam pit obviously. crazy. now on a biking note- i think i just caught a case of the mondays and am loving it. will definitely be needing to get out and ride when i wake up now.
wow freeride entertainment have changed... although in a good way, they are taking on a more modern approach instead of the same biking montages to some shitty music. i like where there going and hope they bring out something soon.
Loving that Free-ride Demo reel, I cant wait for the complete DVD. Some really great camera work and editing, if that doesnt get you outside and enjoying life, I dont think anything will.
@MCsession7 Yes, fair point. However, I still think a helmet would come in handy, be it half shell or four tenth shell... He's doing some crazy sh*t after all!
good example is at 2:30 - What happens if his back wheel hits that fence? I guess after you've wiped out on enough railings and staircases you just don't have any fear anymore. For some reason in street culture it is uncool to wear a helmet; the pros should maybe take some responsibility and start wearing helmets in their videos even if they don't need them. I love those hang-five combos he does in the first half of the video!
if you start the "what if" thinking, then no one would do anything. Pros shouldn't have to do anything other than make good videos, the whole reason they ride is that it's fun and there are no rules, it's freedom in the truest form. Once people like you want them to have to do stuff then then are no longer free. If people want to wear helmets they will, if they don't they wont. Stop worrying for them it will make you age faster.
