CyclingTips Digest: Corruption, Crashes, $10,000 Framesets, A Radical New Chain, & More
On the broadcasting crashes thing, F1 handled it very well. Daniel Riccardo was disappointed how they handled it because they kept showing replays while Grosjean was on the way to hospital. I understand why he'd be upset with that. With regards to the article itself, the writer says the barrier is what "sliced the car in half". I'm just here to let y'all know that the barrier did not cut the car in half. The cars are designed to break apart under that huge amount of stress to reduce the amount of rotation force put on the driver. If a barrier is sharp enough to cut through carbon fibre and all the power unit components, then the "safety cell" that the drivers sit in wouldn't be able to hold up to it either.

Yeah I was watching live and didn't see a single replay until they showed Grosjean sitting in the medical car

10 Kits for Plus Size Mountain Bikers - Men’s Edition
by no means am i plus sized, i just didnt get the height gene in my family and came out shorter and a bit wider. The raceface stage shorts are flippin dank and same goes for their agent pants. Also having a good fitting jacket in the Mountain Hardwear Exposure 2 Goretex makes winter riding no problem

GT Force Elite Large (updated with new photos)

$3600 CAD
Do you want an enduro thrasher and a bike park smasher? Do you want a bike that's at least somewhat dignified on the climbs and absolutely shreds on the way down? Did you miss out on buying a new rig in the spring because covid goofed up everyone's lives and you couldn't ride? If you answered yes to any or all of those questions, this is the bike for you! Selling my beloved GT Force that I've been riding for just over a year. I no longer have the facilities to store a bike so unfortunately it's up for sale. Got this bike in August of 2019 and loved riding it the whole time. Specs: -Aluminum frame, size large, boost 12x148 rear spacing, ride wrap on the downtube and in some other areas -Rockshox Yari RC DebonAir, Charger Damper and boost spacing 160mm travel (has a pretty neato custom toy story fender on it) -Rockshox Super Deluxe R coil shock (I believe it has a 450 spring in at the moment) 150mm rear travel (air or coil shock compatible) -Raceface Chester bar and stem combo with ODI waffle style grips -Sram Descendant 6k aluminum cranks with sram crank boots and 32T chainring -Blue Deity Bladerunner pedals (some of the best flat pedals I've ever used) -Almost completely Sram NX Eagle drivetrain except the rear derailleur has been upgraded to GX Eagle in July 2020 (only a handfull of rides on the new derailleur) -TRP Slate T4 4-piston brakes with new shimano saint pads and were just bled in July -X-fusion manic dropper post with 150mm of travel (I also have a spare dropper post that is brand new which is included in the price) -WTB Silverado saddle colour matched to the frame -WTB i29 rims (27.5/650b) on formula hubs (not the greatest thing out there but I pulled apart the hubs in the summer and they were still in perfect condition) -Schwalbe Hans Dampf tires that are set up tubeless with stan's sealant and gorilla tape -Brand new rear axle *does not come with bottle/bottle cage or pump* The frame has a few scrapes here and there, all dings have been covered up with ride wrap to keep from further damage I considered doing a mullet setup on this bike but circumstances changed and I can't keep it much longer, I'm very sad to see it go and hope it goes to someone who will treat it well Please reply to this ad if you're interested, will not ship, offers will be considered but I reserve the right to decline an offer.
