well, TBH, probably took them longer to make the retro design rather than just using an off the shelf shopify template for their store. Even though the style looks cheap and looks crappy, its still been designed and created to look like that, and it takes just as long to create something that intentionally looks awful as opposed to looking "tasteful" in short.. takes a lot of time and money to look this bad ..

I aint watched this series as it never interested me from the start - but what is entertaining is the crowd in the comments spouting off that no-one wants to watch this stuff .... !!! Its a numbers game, so this is probably a roaring success, fueled by your hate / disapproval - on YouTube every episode seems to have been watched more than other videos on their channel, even more than the fail vids. Every article here on PB generates around 200 comments, and, I assume many more just clicking through just to to watch you all get wound up. Not sure how they are evaluating this, but if it is just a numbers game, bums on seats etc, then they probably know that the way to get people interested in their content is to make stuff that pisses you all off, as it seems to motivate you all to click, view and comment ... maybe you have all just been played HA!

@tacklingdummy: Exactly - this is what these type of things are for, they are assistive technology, and that usually means they allow those that can't do things .. to do them. e-bikes are assistive and as such can help those that can't, they should not be used for getting more more more more for less.

Same time every year, this is, unfortunately, Christmas shopping for some people .. its happening here in the UK too, always picks up around xmas, then, in the new year you see kids riding about on badly sprayed mountain bikes, with no decals, that are several times too big or them

oh fu*k the fu*k off - now these brands are just trolling MTB'ers, seeing if they will actually pay this amount to look like a complete twat, and yes, the model looks a twat in this ... thing, I think they said as much themselves. I mean we look like dorks at the best of times, but this is literally next level trolling, and some are paying for this privilege, and they will, that's why a-holes companies like this get away with it - people are ACTUALLY BUYING THIS STUFF!!!!

The constant reason i hear for getting and eMTB is "to get more runs in" then its obvious that bikes are gonna be self-powered very soon - just press a button, sit back and get shuttled back up - why pedal at all, I mean, those that want to pedal and go on adventures, OK, but for those that want to have an uplift in their own local woods, then they will be fully assisted, and they will be annoyingly smug about it too. Companies just dare not do it right away, as you have to drip feed this stuff, or we cry about it on Pinkbike.

Saw this article on Facebook and Was wondering why I could not see this in my feed - then realized it will be filtered out for the eMTB tag - shame as this article needs to be seen by many more as its so much more than just an electric bike

The fuck is Downcountry! why is that a option, its a joke aint it, I mean literally, was it not a joke made by Mike? also, why is there not an option for "new bike2 or "build your own" - you just assume we all just buy a new bike every time - do you? Laughing out fucking loud at all the comments about creased clothing, I know a large portion mountain bikers are true posers, but are you all the vain and obsessed with your image that you all spend time steaming your gear before you ride!! yes, I know its an article and you feel it should be perfect, like a glamour model shoot, but. you are also asking them to spend 10 times as long on this article, and buy extra bits to make them all pretty and smooth, do more testing etc etc, whilst also constantly complaining about advertising and paywalls - make ya bloody mind up you contradictory fools, this aint a big budget shoot FFS!!!
