Video: A 4-Day, 3-Country Circumnavigation of Mont Blanc
I live beside Mt Blanc. Amazing trails, but, if you are tempted to do this loop, and its a goodie, I can't stress enough how busy the trail gets in July & Aug. If possible (subject to refuges being open and high passes clear) go mid Jun or early July. As for e-bikes, I'd say it won't be long till you won't be able a hire a bike that isn't an "e" bike.

Video: iXS European DH Cup - A Crazy Weekend of Racing in Les 2 Alpes
the man kini is a good spot, then again how can you miss such satirical elegance! A2A is a great bike park, but what I'm looking forward to is the legendary Chambéry *its back baby) DH this weekend as part of the IXS events. Forecast is no train, so no "with balls that big, how does he sit down" moments. Bring it on and best of luck to everyone taking part

@Someoldfart: racing BC, tush. You dont know how lucky you are. When i were a lad (yorkshire obviously) we dreamed of drop offs with pointy rocks. We only had Orange P7's, lycra shorts in neon colours and trails that went vertically down the coal mines, in the pitch black, on slicks. We ddddrrrrreeeeaaammmed of a soft track like Crans. Tush, the youth dont know how lucky they got it (all copyright claims that the above resembles a classic comedy troop from the 70's & 80's entirely coincidental......)

Unfair on bike academy. Evan & Emmet clearly have done well. There big break came from BA. Flo's results needs no further comment. Just hope that if it runs again, offer the place to the fastest rider (assuming the prize is a slot with a race team)

Have only watched the Sea Otter race so far, but great story telling. Will be back for the others. But can't resist a bit of e-bike bashing. That guy that shadowed the 2 guys fighting it out for the win on the final climb really bugged me (maybe he was part of the film crew for one of the riders?), but my feeling is that he should not have been so close. You earn the right, you earn through blood sweat and tears the the privilege to be there. Then some e-bike pops up. No, show some respect and keep away. If you were film crew, I think t was inappropriate...............and breath

Steve, i couldn't agree more. By all means review different brands, then compare against the category "standard", which i'd say is currently something like an Enduro. The key is to keep the "leader board" up to date
