Judging only happens for money reasons. Just enjoy the siiiick lines and drops like Bender intended. Berrecloth himself went for sweet freeride lines, knowing they wouldn't win, because goddamn it's fun as fuuuuck.

Marzocchi made some great stuff. My old 888 Air was so plush, so grippy, didn't dive and needed constant rebuilds before a spring conversion. It was sad to see them go, and sad Ohlins is set for the same fate

But what if I don't have friends to drive the shuttle truck :-/ This is 100% the e-bike for me - more time spent focusing on the trail, less spent huffing and puffing my way back up. I swapped from DH bikes to moto, but sorely miss being connected to the trails, hunting for pumps, the bike not weighing 270lbs.....

I very clearly remember how little weight matters from my XC days. I had replaced the heavy suntor on my hardtail for a fox air fork that shaved a good amount of weight off the front end. I regretted it every climb because the suntor could be "locked down", with the geo being very ass up, climb like it's 1995 rigid.
