Our week here in Whistler is clipping along nicely, here are 12 photos to give you a taste of what we have been up too thus far.

Check inside for the images...The week thus far in Whistler has been awesome. We have packed in a variety of riding in different locations and here are some photos documenting our week to date.

to drops off of old train cars!

Kenny came cooking into the "Megatron" gap at what seemed like 80kmph. What a huck that was!

Big shout outs to Bear Back Biking and Whistler Bike Park for their help with making this trip happen. The guides at Bear Back Biking have really helped take the guess work out of shooting and riding locations!

As some of you may or may not have noticed I am shooting with a couple new lenses. Lens Rentals Canada hooked it up with a couple lenses for us to try out while we are up in Whistler. I will be shooting with a Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS II, a Canon 10-22 f3.5-4.5 and a Canon 35mm f1.4L lens. Big props to Lens Rentals Canada!

There you have it, our week in Whistler to date. If you want to check out more photos click here for my Whistler Week album.

I can't help but think there were a few brand-name plugs in there, but very sick overall. Good photos, fitting descriptions, and sick riders. Makes me wanna go to whistler!

yeah i noticed that too... little to obvious when you state each individual product, but it keeps this great website alive so... good feature but

....and at the end of the day we use Tide to get all our stains out. Tide, for your not-so-everyday stains.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the ad-copy was a little too "in-yer-face".

The primary reason we are up here is to collect content (ie. pictures and videos) of products so that you all get to see it and we can offer input on how it all works. He are trying to tell you what gear we are wearing so that you know, but I guess that with a lot of know it all, that may be tough. Just like tech Tuesdays, if you already know everything, no point posting up about how much you know and that everyone should be as wise as yourselves.

I totally understand, brule. I'm diggin' it, and a few product plugs aren't a bad thing either- what would DH race coverage be without the SRAM tape in every shot? Not as good.

i like the look of that new Alpinestar BDS Neckbrace not all big and bulky like the oter ones that look like mx braces.
  • 2 0
yea looks slimmer. Question is if it is as good as Leatt. Answer to potential stupid comments: it's way better than nothing.
  • 3 0
But... have you ever tried a Leatt? I wouldn't say it was big and bulky at all... In fact I didnt even notice I was riding with it when I got to try one. Plus the Leatt looks better imo Razz

I had it on once, the DBX model. Tried my friends one, while having my TLD D2 on. I was just curious. Great product, very comfortable don't feel like limiting anything at all, maybe a bit when putting my head up. But never ridden in it, so can't say. Alpine stars just LOOKS slimmer and lower profile.

I bought a Leatt GPX Club yesterday.
I tried on the BNS (Alpine) as well. I prefer the Leatt. Seems to be a better quality device, it's more adjustable, and it just fits me better. I am also using a thincker moto helmet, and I have full range of motion with it. First ride with it on Saturday, and I'm stocked.

Jesus... enough product placement? We can see what they're wearing, guys. Tell us what trails they're on. What is this, VOGUE magazine?!

Ty, FYI I was joking. Humour. Yeah ?

Can someone list off those trails pictured?? They don't look ANYTHING typical of Whistler. Headed there in 5 weeks and THAT(nearly everything pictured above) is what I'm after!

None of the pictures above can be found within the park boundaries. Danimal is a valley trail - found on local trail maps, Train Wreck is out near Function Junction and should be in the Whistler Trail Handbook and Grumpy Grouse is up in Pemberton.
