2024 Pinkbike Awards: Innovation of the Year Winner
I had an e13 chainguide on my bike for 5 years, then swapped it to the next and riding it for another 5 years already.
NEVER had the chain come off or get stuck. NEVER had to do anything to it. Set it and forget it!
I broke the upper plastic guide once in a crash and could buy only this part separately. Saving some money and not trashing parts that still worked.
SUSTAINABILITY is not about ocean plastic. It's about using things for years and being able to repair or replace the minimum.

10 Companies Offering Repairs on Bike Clothing
I can not see the typical posh Rapha customer riding around with patched or stitched clothes.
And the price list for repairing the stuff from Norrona is just ridiculous! You can get a new item or at least a half one for these prices.
Certainly paying for them "currently remodeling its headquarters".

Opinion: Why Have Bike Makers Ignored this Grassroots Fix?
Its the same with your SMART PHONE.
Most people buy a rubber case for it right away. But the beauty of the real material is never revealed.
You could ask why the designer had to make any effort in designing it in the first place.

Opinion: Why Have Bike Makers Ignored this Grassroots Fix?
@Bungalow-bikes: Chances are that they offer pedals that you and I don't want to ride.
Usually I already replace a stem and bar and other things, that then I have to sell off as "2nd hand - like new" for a dumping price.
I am happy to use the pedals from my old bike, what I also sell without pedals, and never had any complaints.

The Most Interesting Bike at Outdoor Demo - Interbike 2017
We designed this DH frame concept in early 2016. Looks familiar in some details. Especially the hidden shock with a cover and the headset area.
