Spotted: Prototype High Pivot Canyon Sender
My brain auto completed that to potatoes. And yes, of course they need to hide their potatoes. Imagine what would happen if people saw the eyes, lenticels, or god forbid a scale leaf before it’s ready.

First Ride: Scott Voltage - The Electric Genius
If you’re buying a Scott it’s because you want a Scott, not because it’s the most sensible cost to spec/weight/whatever ratio.

Review: SRAM's New Maven Brakes - The Big Brake
@TheSlayer99: I mean I’m perfectly capable of modulating more on/off feeling brakes but genuinely prefer the extra pull required to get from bite point to locking up the wheel. I’m not always confident enough to be a brake hard and late charger so I feel like it gives me more control when things get squirrelly.

Perilously close to locking up and losing traction on this thread. Maybe dial it back a hair.

Video: How To Get Kids Hooked On Mountain Biking - How To Bike with Ben Cathro
@SATN-XC: Yes I see so many poor kids on hardtails with heavy coil forks that do nothing. Rigid with plus tires up to 20” is the move. Both of mine are/were on the REI drt with 2.6’s. Just have to remember to air them back up for hard surface riding cause holy rolling resistance Batman. I got my oldest a 24” Forth hardtail. Affordable, solid spec where it counts, and light for the cost. Definitely noticed speed increase dramatically with the larger wheels and air fork.
