Spotted: The New and Not-so Secretive Scott Gambler
Currently own a genius tuned, as I got it heavily discounted. Sold my SC Megatower as I felt it was too much bike even with racing enduros. The genius hidden shock feature has been great over the winter. So easy to clean the bike, there's no chance of over heating in Scotland. The Scott has been faultless thus far, no additional maintenance so far, other than the occasional bolt check. Headset will be changed at the year mark along with the cables, so it's a one stop shop. Slightly more onerous, but it's not the end of the world.

Dam. I just bought the gt stomper fs for my daughter. Thing weighs like 16kg! It's ridiculously heavy for a kids bike.

@vinay: but its the fact they haven't mentioned it. It should say something like: "if you intend to use the larger cassette with shimano then you will need the wolf tooth kit of similar. Same sentence if you need it while using Sram. So that before you order you can budget and know what you need before it is fitted to the bike and is the deemed non refundable. I don't think it's unreasonable to have this information up front.
