RAD Apparel Debuts 'Made In Colorado' Mountain Bike Jersey
@shagolagal: Cheap tshirts are only cheap if you don't consider the sunk cost of the human lives used in what is essentially slave labor.

@VtVolk: It's pretty close. Hard to tell where the center of the BB is when there is a honkin motor in the way.

Trans Cascadia Allows Racers to Defer Entry Following Cancellation Feedback
Why is it that a lot of these race organizations can't give refunds? I get it if the money is already spent or if it is a nonprofit, but for-profit race orgs (like epic rides) they should have rainy day funds just like any financially responsible adult no?

Trans Cascadia Allows Racers to Defer Entry Following Cancellation Feedback
Yeah, I didn't quite follow their logic, but they are a great organization. Originally, for grinduro they told entrants that the money couldn't be refunded because they had already spent most of the money since the cancellation was so close to the race which makes sense. With the D-Ville classic (which was 6 months out), they said that they couldn't sustain themselves if they give refunds. Because SBTS is so kickass (and a nonprofit), I am totally cool with that regardless and would gladly support them. That said, they should make all the entrants who lost 250 bones SBTS members for the year.

Magura Launches New Apparel Collection
@mmarkey21: my mt5s were pretty inconsistent. When they were biting they had so much power, but I had a few instances where the bite point just disappeared in some scary spots. Fresh bleed, new pads, didnt seem to matter. Great brakes but they seem really finicky whereas shimano you can do a race bleed once a season and you're set.

Pinkbike Poll: Are You Planning on Racing This Year?
I'm cool doing it for the nonprofits like SBTS, they can have my money, but there are some privately held race organization companies out there. Is it now the racers job to subsidize a private corporation that inadequately prepared for financial hardship? I am less sure about that one.

Ride Concepts Adds Andreu Lacondeguy to Factory Athlete Team
@savagelake: No. I gave them a shot since they are local, but unfortunately the grip on the livewires was not good at all. I sold them after a few rides and begrudgingly went back to 510. Grip is one of those things that you can't go back on once you've had it. I have heard the helion or whatever is a bit better.
