Great condition.
The suspension runs smooth and the stanchions are clear of any nicks or scratches.
Wheels run true and tyres are fairly new.
Frame bearings are free of play and run smooth.
Brakes well bled and VERY powerful.
Note the dropper doesn't return to full height (about 1 cm off, but can be pulled up into position). I'd recommend a service on it.
Note shifting is a little stiff. Not excessively, but a little. The rear mech was new in April and hasn't had any knocks/works perfect. Could do with a new cable, but I've been riding it fine as without worry. Just flagging.
It rides great and the price reflects the last two points I've noted, which are very fixable.
Happy to answer any questions. Cheers.

Intend's Redesigned Grace OS Stem Increases Compatibility
Just as important as a list of bars this stem is compatible with is a list of bars which it isn’t compatible with. Can they work on that too? (Love the stem, but this seems an important oversight)

One of a kind, one owner (me), very fun bike, all in good condition with relatively little use unfortunately. Well looked after, true wheels and no surprises. Well suited for a large (6 foot ish) rider with a nice balance between pedal-ability with the high saddle and a low slung frame for downhills. I’ve played around with meatier tyres as a more rowdy trail bike and lighter tyres as a more XC bike. It works well in both camps and the current set up is a solid middle ground.
Some surface rust as with all raw, lacquered frames. I have pictured the worst of it and it’s part of the look on these raw steel bikes. You could let it develop for 20 years and it wouldn’t affect the bike, but Gary does respray old frames if you ever wanted this doing.
Bike is in Amersham, Bucks, with me until 25th September. After that it’ll be based in Newcastle.
