I would be more interested in how many people change components from stock set up to something else. That would really show useful info if most everyone is just running stock those numbers don’t mean much

I don’t always think it is a skill based thing. I don’t know what level of skill I am at. Their was a time when I only wanted to hit the hard stuff to satisfy that adrenaline and Maby ego. Now that I am older some times it is nice to just go for a casual ride just to get out on my bike is a joy

So interesting how geo changes. I have a 2015 trail bike 140mm travel. Geo that was new then pretty much what this geo is. So by today standard I just have a long travel heavy xc bike

Video: Dreamscapes and Big Sends with Conor MacFarlane on an EMTB
One day I was huffing up the logging road climb to the top of the trail, and some one passes me on a e bike. At first I was annoyed but then realized he was loaded down with trail tools and had a young child on a top tube seat. I thought what a wonderful thing dad and child day in the bush fixing trails. This is definitely something that would have not been possible with a reg bike good for them
