Video: Joel Ducrot Out for a Rip on his Ransom
I just purchase one of these. Coming from a Transition Sentinel. The bike looks very well engineered close up. The very progressive suspension leverage ratio, plus the flip chip option looked great on paper. But having some very fast friends on them, always speaking highly of the ride qualities at race speed, had me sold. I do however believe they let the XC engineering team design the dropper/shock/fork switch levers, which is a complete fail in ergonomics and ride-ability. Ive removed the fork lock out already, an move the shock lever tower inboard 5cm. Fitting a wolf tooth dropper lever, for the seat. Ive only done light xc rides on it so far, due to rider injury. But the shock travel adjust idea works well on fire road climbs. Scott just need to design a better shock lever system, maybe off the bars, & down near the water bottles extra 3rd bolt.

Pinkbike Poll: How Much Does the Bike Impact Racers' Results?
The day after I brought my first “Long, Low an Slack” bike. I was crushing my DH strava PR’s, and getting the very occasional KOM too. In gravity racing, u can buy time.

Video: All The Episodes from Season 2 of The Privateer
Biggest question from fans in 2020, is what bike Adam will buy for himself for racing next year. I wonder if he preferred the Scott over the Pivot?

Field Test: 2020 Yeti SB165 - A Pedalable Park Bike
@mikekazimer: Hi Mike, does this bike have a shock flip chip of some sort, to change BB height? Looking for my next mullet friendly frame.

Review: Scott Gambler 900 Tuned - A Sub-35 Pound Downhill Bike
@drmantistobogganmd: I’ve been hoping SCOTT will do a frame only Ramsom for some time now ( Carbon or Al). As no one wants that Fit4 fork, or that lock out junk on there bars. With the very high sales prices in Oz, I’ll probably just get a new Yeti SB165 frame eventually. Scotts seems to have some great engineers on there frame design team. But are massively let down by the XC orientated parts specs department, in regards to the Ransom build.
