 have you ever tried to sit down while downhilling? and ripping like that? you cant. think about what you are saying before you say it. its a good vid. no doubt. i agree with others its a tad short, but a lot of vids are short. its a good VOD. i like it. im going to stop being a lazy shit on a computer and go ride my bike.

 you can't truly judge his speed unless you've seen the trail in person. trails tend to look much much easier in video.

 i never said that he was going slow i just said i dont like the vid and thats my opinion.

 To all the individuals that believe this should not be VOD, make a video yourself, take the time, get the shots and then post it; and then when other people (with nothing better to do than argue about video's made by kids that just love to ride) comment on your movie/video in a negative way, see how it feels. Its a local rider riding local trails with another rider filming, its probably not produced by spielberg but then again its not expected. I liked the video, was a tad short but i thought it was well put together and shows the up and coming talent of young riders.

 Yeah yeah I totally agree with you nsmb, I make movies myself, and although I haven't posted them up here on pinkbike I know there's ways I can improve. But people cannot post their videos up here and expect NOT to receive criticism. If anything, getting a VOD is a way of seeing how you can improve, not just applause for how good it is. Please, I understand what you mean. I spent 10 hours filming over 2 days on the weekend for a movie I'm producing, and so I know the time and effort required to make a good movie. I'm also jealous because I never get VOD but I don't think you'll find me making rash comments just because I can... look at my comments on the recent VOD of Luke Ball! I think that's fricken sick! I'm all for local vids, but I'm also allowed to say what I think.

 I like your opinion. You have your reasons and you are allowed to stick with them. Did I 'Produce' this? Haha no, I took a camera and filmed my buddy, with no tripod, in about an hour. Did I expect to get VOD? No. Did I want criticism on a video that I didn't put any effort into? No. Does my friend want to hear he is slow for no reason other than all these little kids talking big over the internet? No.

If you have constructive criticism for the rider, then sure lets here it. Point is, it's called constructive for a reason. Your opinion should help in a positive way, even if it is a negative.

Now all shut up, and go ride your bikes. That is all we were trying to do anyways...

 coca, you're right about constructive criticism, it should help in a positive way but it is naive to think that everyone on the internet is going to be like that. bottom line is when you post something on the internet you have to accept that people are going to criticise it and not necessarily in a positive or constructive way. by the way, it is a good vid and i'd like to see a longer one up here at some point

 Constructive criticism is good for every producer, he will get some more opinions of the film and than be able to produce some better stuff next time. But the Fact is that criticism in the VOD films, are comeing because people that watch it mean that this isn't the quality that they had expect for a VOD. Or at least they think that should be much longer.. What is a 1min film, its nothing, the film was very nice, but way to short. A VOD should at least be around 3 minutes, one minute is just not what we as the people that watch want to see..

 Great edit Congrats on Vod...i don't get why people ditch short Vods cause theres lots of longer crappy vods then short 1s like its a great vid just a bit short but there will always be a new Vod tomorrow thats just what i think

Hey Maksimbike, how about learning some reading comprehension before trying to give people constructive criticism on their posts.

By the way, riding was okay, editing was pretty good, music was better than "Coasting" but still sounded like something my step-uncle was probably dancing to down at the local "men's" club last weekend.

He didn't seem slow to me? Most trails on the Shore aren't super fast. I for one living in Vancouver have a different perspective, I realise that he's hauling ass for the style of trail hes on.

 Honestly Coca, What the hell that was a horrible video the cinematography was garbage, the acting sucked, seriously it was more painful then watching a porn movie, goshhhh. i think you should quite life and go live in a hole somewhere, there was no huge hucks, no double backflip late quadruple tailwhips, i mean common the last new world disorder had one of those and i expect your movie filmed in an hour with no budget to be better then the ones that take a year, 20 different riders, helicopters, and plane rides to exotic places to be. And what no hardtails? are you tailist? MY GOD also you had no 14 year kids failing horribly, how can it be a good video with that? Also he is not riding with gloves, doesnt he know thats dangerous, he could seriously get hurt, my mommy always told me i had to ride with gloves, did his mommy not tell him that? you should be taking better care of your friends at least he was wearing a white suit to ride in mud and dirt, that makes a lot of sense, Goshhh

 When did I cry about negatives? I am just trying to save the confidence of my fellow friend and rider of this video. You can say shit about the filming and editing, because it wouldn't bother me the slightest...but dissing someones riding is uncalled for.

 wow there is a lot of haters on this site these days. if he rides slow and has no confidence then how is he sponsored? give me a break man try to follow this kid down a trail and i guarantee 99% of you that are talking sh*t would get smoked. props to the rider
