Haha. I don't know who put this up, but it is me and my homies vid, and trail. Me, Grant Stevens, Timmy Buckner, Gram Hunt, Danny B, And Troy Devault built that trail. We had to go to Federal Court for it. Then we had to tear it down. It was a sad day. Took us 3 years to build, and 6 months to tear down.
We have moved on to building mostly DJ's now.

Because unlike canada, which supports mtb, hippies around here get laws past, and near everywhere is private property, or gov owned property.
Sierra club sucks! And the peds to as well. The peds need to stick to their nice walking trails and keep off our downhill trails. All it takes is one ped to complain and its all over.

i saw this on MTBR and some of the guys who worked on it were saying the trail got shut down after some hikers saw it and reported it to the BLM. the guys who made it had to tear it down. that must have been horrible tearing down such a sick trail...

All the trails around here are uberly secret because all the local counties won't have it. Pretty lame it has to be such a way.

and thats how the infamous, legendary trails are born.
I stumble on "hidden trails" all the time. I don't mention them, I just go back, and enjoy. Continue to build, fix anything I mess up, and hopefully find someone else riding them (and not get into a fist fight or shot) and keep on chucking.
Some of the best trails in the world have been secret. From major movie productions, to local legendary rides.
its sad places around here like UCSC trails were blown up (why I don't mind mentioning them.. because it's too late to save em. Laws were just passed, and 400+$ tickets will occur).
All of it just reinforces the idea to keep as concealed as possible, don't make trails going in, make it so you have to talk through the woods etc for a good long ways before you hit the trail. Mark the trees with a non visable way if you can't remember where you put it etc. Like said, all it takes is a ped (hiker) to find it, and its done for.
Now go ride on. go make trails. And continue this tradition of die hard secretive hardcore riders
