Justin Wyper on Blackcomb
Just after Crankworx the crew decided to head up Blackcomb with Justin Wyper to do a little shooting. First time using a 35mm adapter. Didn't have tones of time to shoot however so its pretty short. Enjoy though! Filmed on an Panasonic HPX170. Still shots to come. Song: Mowgli's Road by Marina and The Diamonds

Does the redrock you own use a vibrating plate? Did you have any issues with the focus plate's grain showing at higher shutter speeds (like for slow-mo 1/120 @ 60p)?
Just curious cause I noticed it at :16, and I though you had a redrock with the vibrating plate like from that photo you have online.
I WILL say that I'm glad that you didn't use an insane amount of shallow DOF with your lenses, so many people using DSLRs "in the wrong way" always go all out at f/1.8 or whatever, and it's getting to be distracting while watching.
Props.

sweet video but how do you go riding on blackcomb? is it a hike and bike or do you shuttle up service roads?

Ya basically all semi-secret trails up there. Lots of locals know about them though. All hike access unfortunately. Service roads would have been amazing with 60 pounds of gear.
