 Makes me wonder - and don't get me wrong - I ride a downhill bike... But why the Sam Hill do people need 9" of travel and full race gear for what is basically a babys-ass-smooth dirt track in the woods?

Also, that track didn't exactly look "Babies-ass-smooth".

 its not, the video doesn't do that trail justice, i dont think any video can, its a pretty gnarly trail in spots. sick video though !

 ^ All so true. Where he disappears off the road, the trail is almost a cliff. I fell and slid a couple times while hiking down. Its so gnarly.

 All fair points indeed. I have, however, seen peeps clear 40+ on a bmx Wink Good work on the babies spelling Larkey! I knew there was somethin wrong with that when I typed it! OK, so, early teenagers ass smooth.... still... he's rippin it though and that's what counts..

 tell the truth...thats a rough old ass trail...not smooth ! trust me ! im filming on it these days and i can barely walk some of it !

 Nnnnnyaaaa. That - from what I'm going on (responding to the video here! - not walking it!) - is a dirt track. Steep? Maybe? Rough? No.

 Not sure what the fuss is about. Nice gap, but that trail is basically a xc trail. More fun on a shorter travel hard tail, I think.
