haha, well building it up is already in the works, as is jumping with a train in the shot... but jumping over the train would be next to impossible with this set up

  • + 2
yea, i saw there was a smaller hit there a few years back, so about a year ago i fixed it up. just this weekend i did some more work on it and its pretty prime. if anybody asks, its in that town with the railroad tracks in the trees

pretty choice vid, cant wait for da promo
  • + 1
how sniper is that tranny? looked like you were nosing into it pretty good, really sick jump you built there!
  • + 1
not 100% sure what you mean by "sniper," but after some tweaking it was the smoothes jump i had ever built/ridden. the very last shot in this video was the first time i ever hit it, and got bucked a little
  • + 1
oh ok that explains the nose dive, by sniper i mean how steep is it?
  • + 1
it is pretty steep, but it gets steep gradually so big bikes can hit it, lol
  • + 1
I pass this every time I am doing the poganip loop. Ill be sure to look for it next timne and sesh it up. props man!!
  • + 1
yea, let me know if its still there next time you swing through. it has been kicked down once before and i just rebuilt it. i hope it lasts at least a while longer. the good part is that only the last few feet of the just is built up, the rest is just the embankment for the RR
  • + 1
yeah fasho man prolly not for a while though SC is getting hammered with rain.
  • + 1
yea, i hope it holds off soon, i have two weeks to get back down there and film my promo vid

Didn't your butt get wet when you sat on that log?
  • + 1
haha, i had already been in the rain all morning... didnt make much of a difference
  • + 1
lol, hopefully that isnt part of the new development of the train that is to be built
  • + 1
no, this part of the tracks has been around for at least 100 years
  • + 1
remember the speed train prop that got passed?
  • + 1
 really cool song and jump!
  • + 1
Self shot? That's nuts. Great job!
  • + 1
thanks! i required a ton of running up the hill, but worth it
  • + 1
 that looks like amazing fun
  • + 1
Damn, nice filming / editing. I'd love to hit that up one day.
  • + 1
dude thats hella cool. sweet editing and riding. nicely done
  • + 1
sick, but holy nosedive near the end there.
  • + 1
thanks! and yea, it was my first run and i had my rebound WAY too fast. because the landing is so steep it was actually easy to recover from.
  • + 1
ha i have a video of me doing that jump a long time ago.
  • + 1
nice, i just check it out. i built it up a ton
  • + 1
dude btw How do you build jumps like that? Are there logs under there or is the dirt in sc just really shapeable? I assume u might have also helped build the tib step up on trestle glen, and I dont get how people build jumps like that.
  • + 1
i was out there in the pouring rain building it. there are logs under it, but the dirt i was using was really nice as well. I did build the step up about a year ago, but aidan has been working on it more recently. one of the main tricks it packing the moist dirt layer by layer as opposed to at the every end when you have a big pile of dirt.
  • + 1
 sweet thanks
  • + 1
 cool man should be vod!!!!
  • + 1
check out the full promo, i just uploaded it
www.pinkbike.com/video/185071
  • + 1
 jump looks pretty fun
  • + 1
haha not when you see the landing
  • + 1
i think the landing is the best part once you get over the mental part of this jump. its the smoothest landing i have ever hit
  • + 1
 looks mint mate Smile
