Great filming, amazing skill, but the song is so horrific I could bearly see it once, and I will never see it again. Seriously, wats wrong with kids these days? Where is the NWD type of music, power, agression, hardcore. Instead We have some pussy whining. 3/4 of the videos on pinkbike lately are like this, so im just watching a few seconds and killing it, and I would do the same thing with this one if it wasent VOD. Is it just me?

@levy666, I'm going to have to completely disagree with you on that, and alot of other people will do so too. A fast tempo thrash metal hardcore song would not fit this beautiful video at all, think of the speed of the film, the flow, personally I think the song is perfect, it compliments everything filmed in this edit. Pussy whining? Dude your doing that yourself right now. Just watch the video, get inspired by peoples work, and got ride your bike. Stop bitching. Rant over.

OK, I got it, but Im not talking about this vid only, its like im hearing the same song over and over again (if not the same, than very similar) and Im sick of it, is there realy no other slow, moody, nostalgy pussy song in the net?

^ Yes because edits are so enjoyable on mute...
It was insanely sick but I'm going to partially agree with levy666 on this one. The song they used has been beat to death and it seems to be a popular trend among the MTB community to re-use the same handful of tunes, with some very welcomed exceptions. If you're going to put that much effort into your edit at least put some effort into finding your OWN music because that takes away from the originality of the edit and gives it a level of boring repetition. I can't wait for the next installment and I hope whoever puts them together doesn't use music from his "favorite edits/segments" list again.
But hey, kids seem to love repetition so let the neg props fly!

..In a way this movement of changing music for MTB videos is sort of like the change we saw in general music trends from the 80's to the 90's. The 80's being filled with big hair, big rock, and big power chords, while the 90's kind of took a look back and said simply "that was just silly". Does Rock/Metal/Powerchords still exist? Absolutley and they also have videos that go extremely well with it (Rise against for example.. they're fantastic) However the music needs to match the video's editing style and visa versa.
Come to think of it, I wonder if the "new trend" has anything to do with the generations of MTBing mirroring the aproximate age of MTB'ers now a days. Those 90's kids would be right in the thick of it now come to think. Myself being one of them. ROCK ON 90's!

its not about the music its about biking, nobody said you have to listen to the music if you don't like it.

Well boomer, you clearly don't know what makes a good edit then or you just don't care but either way, a good edit is really more than just the riding, unless the riding is so unreal that it can hold its own... but as sick as the riding was in this particular edit, it could have been complimented WAY better if introduced with a sick new song that you haven't heard yet. That is all. lol

I'm sick of people complaining about these FREE edits, if you don't like it then don't watch it. I don't watch these videos to find 'new' songs i come to Pinkbike to watch videos of biking. P.s that is the first tine i have heard that particular song in an edit.
